Summary: The HR Business Partner Lead role is a temporary position within a government department focused on academic initiatives, requiring an experienced HR professional to provide strategic workforce solutions and manage complex transformation processes. The position involves direct business partnering with key directorates, overseeing workforce plans, and driving organizational projects while ensuring employee relations and cultural commitments are upheld. The role offers a competitive daily rate and requires attendance at the London or Swindon office 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly business partnering with key directorates to provide timely HR solutions.
- Creating and delivering strategic workforce plans for Executive teams and People Directorate.
- Driving strategic organisational projects, including process improvements and job evaluations.
- Managing employee relations and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Leading complex transformation change processes and embedding positive experiences.
- Supporting the delivery of the organisational People Strategy.
- Regularly reviewing data to assess trends and meet targets.
- Embedding cultural attributes and EDI commitments across the organisation.
- Overseeing all people policies and process maps.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or Head of HR Business Partnering.
- Strong background in public sector HR practices.
- Experience in strategic workforce planning and organisational change management.
- Ability to manage employee relations effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis to assess HR trends.
- Knowledge of EDI commitments and cultural embedding.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
