Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to foster a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Heads of Function / Exec to forecast workforce / talent needs based on business strategy.
  • Identify skills gaps and develop plans with L&D Business Partners to build capability.
  • Partner with Leaders to identify high potential talent and critical roles.
  • Develop succession plans and career pathways to retain & grow talent.
  • Support HR Advisors in managing employment relations issues promptly and effectively.
  • Advise on complex ER issues with a strategic lens.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws in the relevant jurisdiction (UK & Gibraltar) and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are up to date, relevant, embedded, and adhered to.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and offer potential solutions.
  • Report meaningful MI monthly and advise on targets for improvement.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and strategies for business leaders.
  • Embrace and support company values, acting with integrity.

Description

We are recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover), to contribute to the achievement of business goals and the creation of a high-performance culture through aligning human resources strategies with the overarching business objectives of the organisation. You’ll be partnering with senior leaders and managers to provide strategic HR support, drive organisational effectiveness, and foster a positive work environment. The HRBP is expected to pro-actively add value through integration with both their assigned business function(s) and within the People & Development function by understanding the strengths and challenges of each area, prioritising as appropriate, identifying and putting in place solutions in collaboration with the Exec Leader for the area and their leadership team.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Heads of Function / Exec to forecast workforce / talent needs based on business strategy
  • Leverage on Skills Builder platform to identify skills gaps and develop plans with L&D Business Partners to build capability
  • Talent Management & Succession Planning: Partner with Leaders to identify high potential talent and critical roles
  • Develop succession plans and career pathways to retain & grow talent
  • Liaise with the Reward Partner to identify and establish reward, recognition or retention strategies where appropriate
  • Employee Relations & Risk Management: Support the HR Advisors in the management of employment relations issues promptly and effectively. Advise on complex ER issues with a strategic lens
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws in the relevant jurisdiction (UK & Gibraltar) and mitigate risks
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure the policies and procedures are up to date, relevant, embedded, and adhered to within the group to comply with employment laws and regulations. Identify areas for continuous improvement within both your own functional areas as well as within P&D and offer potential solutions.
  • Report meaningful MI monthly and advise on targets for improvement. Translate data for your functional areas into actionable insights and strategies for your business leaders
  • Embrace, support, and embed the company values. Act with integrity, adhering to regulatory frameworks set out by the FCA ensuring best possible outcomes for our customers
