Summary: The role of Interim HR Business Partner involves supporting a District Council in East Sussex with HR business activities, particularly focusing on Change and TUPE management related to Devolution. The position requires the development and delivery of an organizational development agenda, workforce planning, and policy development. This is a hybrid role for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension, and classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and deliver an ambitious OD agenda across the council
  • Undertake workforce planning and case work (appeal or disciplinary stage)
  • Assist with the council's devolution programme and educate council members on its implications
  • Create a council-wide Change Management Toolkit with documents and supporting information
  • Liaise with Heads of Service and other HR Business Partners
  • Develop council-wide policies

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Level 7 CIPD professional
  • Experience in TUPE and Change management
  • Local Government experience essential

Salary (Rate): £450
