Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 5-month contract based in London, focusing on providing strategic HR guidance to business leaders while supporting the Head of HR in executing the People Plan. The position emphasizes talent management, employee engagement, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance organizational development. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders, providing proactive guidance on people and organisational development.
- Support the Head of HR in shaping and delivering the People Plan, including leading people programmes.
- Provide cost-effective HR solutions in engagement, talent, development, performance, and planning with a D&I focus.
- Drive talent management and development, including facilitating talent and succession planning.
- Lead or support annual people processes, including pay review, performance calibration, and employee engagement surveys.
- Ensure HR solutions and benefits balance market practice with internal policy, contributing to reward strategy development.
- Collaborate with Unite, local reps, and managers to promote effective partnership in Employee Relations.
- Engage with the wider HRBP community on central initiatives and provide cover as needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience and understanding of employment law and HR policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of TUPE and the people aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in leading organisational change, including talent management and culture transformation.
- Project management expertise to influence senior leaders and align HR initiatives with business strategy.
- Proven HR partnership experience and understanding of organisational development strategies.
- Ability to analyse HR data to inform business decisions.
- Financial Services background and experience in multi-jurisdictional matrix structures preferred.

What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders, providing proactive guidance on people and organisational development aligned with business plans, and supporting the Head of HR in shaping and delivering the People Plan, including leading people programmes when needed.

- Drive talent management and development, including facilitating business areas talent and succession planning.
- Lead or support annual people processes, including pay review, performance calibration, and employee engagement surveys, and ensure HR solutions and benefits balance market practice with internal policy, contributing to reward strategy development with the Reward team.
- Ensure awareness of the Employee Relations climate and collaborate with Unite, local reps, and managers to promote effective partnership.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on shared projects, provide cover as needed, and engage with the wider HRBP community on central initiatives.
What You Bring
- Experience and understanding of employment law and HR policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of TUPE and the people aspects of mergers and acquisitions, along with understanding of people development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in leading organisational change, including talent management, organisation design, and culture transformation.
- Leveraging project management expertise to influence senior leaders and align HR initiatives with business strategy.
- Proven HR partnership experience and understand of organisational development strategies to drive engagement, performance, and cultural change.
- Ability to analyse HR data to inform business decision.
- Financial Services background and experience in multi-jurisdictional matrix structures is preferred.
