Summary: The HR Business Partner role is a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Chester, focusing on supporting the HR team and various stakeholders in generalist HR duties. The position requires expertise in organizational design and transformation, alongside managing employee relations casework. The successful candidate will provide proactive HR advice and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and trade unions. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and implementation of organisational design and change programmes, including restructures involving redundancy, redeployment and TUPE transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, as a trusted partner in all HR and business issues.
- Manage case work and provide advice and coaching in respect of employee relations, contractual and policy matters.
- Provide proactive and professional HR advice on the full range of people issues, including talent acquisition and recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellbeing.
- Maintain good working relationships with trade union representatives to promote employee engagement and aid the resolution of issues.
- Ensure HR data and information is accurate and up to date to aid the decision making of stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Experience as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience in OD / Transformation.
- Confidence and experience in dealing with complex Employee Relations casework.
- Up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of current Employment Law Legislation.
- Level 7 CIPD qualification.
- Strong communication skills to engage with demanding stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a wider HR team.
