Summary: The HR Business Partner role is an interim position for six months, focused on supporting Heads of HR in a large infrastructure project in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Heads of HR to deliver Directorate people related priorities and develop and implement initiatives at manager level to drive improvements
- Support HR priorities including focusing on sickness absence management, attrition, and performance management
- Support and implement objective setting, performance management, end of year reviews, talent reviews, and support with engagement survey action plans
- Support OD processes at the design stage, implementing outputs with impacted colleagues, ensuring a legally compliant consultation process is followed
- Complete monthly reporting activity, assessing data from HRMI, Resourcing and ER
- Identify trends and share insights to support people-related decision-making
- Advise line managers on reward processes, including Temporary Responsibility Allowances, Managed Moves and process any resulting paperwork required
- Provide support to HR leadership on the delivery of broader ER related priorities
- Provide input and support to the development of people related policies, training and processes
Key Skills:
- At least CIPD level 5
- Strong experience of working within a complex, changing matrix managed organisation
- Ideally experience from regulated environments, public sector, or the NHS
- Significant experience with change programmes
- Experience with employee relations (ER) processes including sickness absence, disciplinary, and performance issues
- Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law
- Proactive, confident and collaborative

HR Business Partner | Interim | 6 months + | Birmingham | £350 – £437 per day (Umbrella) For Europe’s largest infrastructure project, we’re recruiting two Interim HR Business Partners for at least 6 months. Both roles will support Heads of HR across various directorates to support with organisational HR strategy and consultation on change programmes and will analyse HR data and MI to advise and enable colleagues and line managers on employee management, HR policy, HR process and complex employee cases.
