Job title: HR Business Partner – 6 month FTC

Overview Of The Role

The HR Business Partner will fully partner with the leadership team of the function(s) they support, to understand and address people challenges and opportunities. They will use internal and external data to define business requirements and co-create solutions with leads and COEs. This role involves driving change initiatives, supporting organisational transformation and fostering a customer-centric and agile work environment. They will hold deep understanding of the people processes we ask our managers to own, and will encourage management accountability, whilst coaching, guiding and supporting the manager to achieve high levels of employee experience. The HR Business Partner will deliver projects and initiatives that deliver the people roadmap and seek opportunity to develop employee experience within their function. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong relationships with leaders and teams to enhance individual, team and organisational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience by:
    • Assessing the talent landscape, using internal and external data
    • Gathering insights through employee interactions, open forums, skip levels and round tables
    • Reviewing engagement survey insights and responding to trends
    • Routinely sharing data and insights with leaders
  • Support change management strategies, engaging stakeholders and monitoring the progress of organisational transformation projects.
  • Guide managers and employees on HR generalist matters, empowering managers to own their people responsibilities and supporting activities related to global mobility, talent & development, organisation design, employee relations issues, and policy / procedural issues
  • Utilise data and analytics to drive data driven decision-making
  • Partner managers on employee relations issues on behalf of HRBPs based outside location
  • Tap into the network of HRBPs and Head of Functions across the group to share ideas and facilitate a joined-up approach that improves our employee experience
  • Define and create relevant local solutions that align to Hire to Retire key processed e.g developing and delivering local scalable onboarding process for new starters which guides their understanding of Flutter ways of working and helps them navigate our business, setting them up for success.

  • Demonstrable experience as an HR Business partner in a fast paced and multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Proven track record of managing business organisational change and transformation projects
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to partner with business leaders
  • Experience of working in diverse cultural environments and understanding of global HR practises
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics for informed decision-making
  • Experience of managing a range of employee relations cases, including performance improvement, disciplinary and grievances, redundancy and redeployment
  • Leadership and influence skills to drive strategic HR initiatives
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring managers and employees to develop their skills and capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
