Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence and support people strategies, employee engagement, and service delivery.
  • Guide managers through workforce planning and complex HR challenges with expert, pragmatic advice.
  • Handle conflict resolution—formally and informally—with professionalism and sensitivity.
  • Champion positive change, supporting the delivery of HR and organisational strategies.
  • Foster a healthy employee relations environment, working closely with Trade Unions and leadership teams.
  • Use data and insights to shape decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with the wider People & OD teams.

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience in senior HR roles with a strong record of advising on complex people matters.
  • Experience leading change initiatives and managing employee consultations at scale.
  • CIPD-qualified (or equivalent) with confidence in employment law and workforce planning.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to influence and coach at senior levels.
  • Experience in fast-paced, care-focused environments (like health or social care) is a strong advantage.
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable travelling across the Northwest as needed.

Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite in Liverpool, remainder remote
