We are recruiting HR Business Partner on an initial 12-month contract (ideally starting late August 2026) to support the delivery of a proactive, high-quality HR service across a specific practice group, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic and operational people initiatives. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, contribute to business-focused HR strategy, and gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities within a professional services environment. This role can be based out of any of our UK offices. Our standard working hours are 9.30am–5.30pm, and we operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience operating as generalist business partnering HR professional, with end-to-end exposure across employee relations, performance and talent management, ideally from a legal or professional services background.
  • Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders, challenging where appropriate and moving the dial on best practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and its practical application in managing ER cases.
  • Experience supporting and delivering key people processes such as performance reviews, promotions, and reward cycles.
  • Experience working with HR data, producing reports and using insights to inform business decisions
  • Experience partnering with recruitment and early talent teams to support hiring, onboarding and trainee development processes.
