Summary: The HR Business Data Analyst (Excel) role involves supporting the People Analytics team by collating, processing, analyzing, and reporting People data for a global client in the technology sector. This is a 12-month hybrid contract based in Derby, UK, with a focus on compliance with data privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate, clean and validate People data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyse and report People/HR metrics.
  • Develop and maintain People/HR reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure data integrity by identifying discrepancies and implementing control checks.
  • Present reporting, analysis and insights to People/HR leaders.
  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in data analysis/management information, preferably in People or HR function.
  • Advanced Excel skills (eg complex formulas, pivot tables, models).
  • Good PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of People/HR metrics and processes.
  • Power BI knowledge/experience (preferable).
