Summary: The HR Assistant role involves supporting the UK HR team with various administrative and operational tasks, including diary management, meeting organization, and payroll support. The position requires collaboration with HR management and senior colleagues, focusing on enhancing HR processes such as onboarding and grievance handling. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the UK Head of HR and Divisional Head of Social Policy and Industrial Relations with meeting organization, diary management, and general administration.
- Provide HR administrative, operational, and project support to the UK HR team, including onboarding, induction, exit, and overseas deployment processes.
- Assist with day-to-day time, attendance, and payroll support activities.
- Support Disciplinary and Grievance processes as required.
- Organize site visitors, room bookings, and meeting coordination.
- Assist in creating and running HR events and processes.
- Conduct ad hoc data management, including file archiving and data analysis for audits and reports.
- Take minutes and notes for various HR meetings.
Key Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- High level of discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to organize workload with attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (GMail, G-documents, G-sheets, G-slides) is desirable.
- Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
