Posted Today by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

Your new company

A growing international business within the renewable energy sector is seeking a Graduate HR Assistant to join their London-based HR team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in HR and gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, global environment.

Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you will gain exposure across the full employee life cycle while supporting a business undergoing significant growth and transformation.

Your new role

As HR Assistant, you will provide day-to-day support to the HR team, acting as a first point of contact for employee queries and helping to deliver a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities will include managing the HR inbox, maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and off boarding processes, preparing employment documentation, assisting with payroll and benefits administration, producing HR reports, and supporting HR projects and system improvements.

You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to employee relations matters and support the implementation and ongoing management of HR systems.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a degree-educated individual with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

You will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

A proactive and professional approach is essential, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Previous HR administration experience, whether gained through a placement year, internship, or part-time role, would be advantageous but is not essential.

This role would suit someone looking to gain valuable HR experience within a collaborative and international business environment.

What you'll get in return

In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will be paid weekly through an efficient online timesheet process and will also receive expert advice from a Hays consultant providing support and guidance throughout the duration of your contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and gain hands on experience in a large and busy working environment.

You will receive bespoke in-house training and will be closely guided to your success.
