We are seeking experienced HR Advisors to support an organisational change programme. Working as part of a dedicated HR project team, you will provide hands-on support across restructures, consultation exercises, redundancy programmes, redeployment activity, and employee relations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with experience of delivering complex workforce change within a complex unionised environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of large-scale organisational change and restructuring programmes.
- Coordinate and administer consultation processes, including collective and individual consultations.
- Provide advice and guidance on redundancy, voluntary redundancy (VR), redeployment, and workforce change procedures.
- Manage a varied caseload of complex employee relations matters, including settlement agreements and change-related cases.
- Build effective relationships with Trade Unions, employee representatives, managers, and key stakeholders.
- Prepare consultation documentation, letters, change proposals, and meeting records.
- Ensure HR records and associated documentation are accurate, compliant, and delivered within tight timescales.
- Support managers throughout the change process, providing practical and legally compliant HR advice.
Candidates
We are seeking HR Advisor / HR Professionals who have a hands on experience of change management including restructuring, redundancy and consultation. You will demonstrate:
- Experience supporting organisational change within complex unionised environments, e.g. public sector, not-for-profit or similar large-scale unionised environments
- Strong knowledge of redundancy, voluntary redundancy, restructuring, redeployment, and consultation processes.
- Experience engaging with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
- Proven ability to manage complex ER casework and settlement processes.
- Experience handling high-volume workloads within a fast-paced change environment.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
Offer
- 4 months + initial contract via Hays online time sheets - weekly
- 3 days per week on site in Dorset / 2 from home, but there is a need to attend the site when project requirements are needed, e.g. when undertaking consultations.
