Summary: The HR Advisor role is a part-time position based in Reading, requiring an experienced individual to support a small HR department for approximately 60 employees. The advisor will work closely with the HR Manager on various HR functions, including managing the employee lifecycle and addressing HR queries. The role is fully office-based and involves a commitment of three days a week. The ideal candidate should possess a CIPD level 5 qualification and have 3-5 years of relevant HR experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Maintaining employee records and updating the database regularly.
  • Providing guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Managing all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
  • Collaborating with the Head of HR to deliver HR initiatives and projects.
  • Providing training and coaching to managers and employees.

Key Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an Advisory and Generalist HR position.
  • CIPD level 5 qualification.
  • Confident communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with employee relations cases.
  • Good knowledge of HR systems.
