Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee HR administration tasks, including sickness absence monitoring and payroll input.

Key Skills:

Description
WFS is looking for a HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week and is office based at our site at London Heathrow. You will be responsible for the provision of HR Advisor support for people matters to a multisite operation supporting circa 250 employees. Working with Operations Managers, you will deliver a full generalist HR service including managing employee relations and recruitment, and providing full HR administrative support to your business unit. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a truly generalist role as part of a friendly and close knit team. Note this role is office based.
Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
- Working with a defined business area to provide a full HR advisory service and guidance on a range of employee issues
- Managing employee relations cases including providing professional advice, attending meetings and preparing and issuing accurate documentation whilst ensuring adherence to company policies
- Acting as a trusted partner on recruitment requirements including setting up advertisements, sifting CV’s and interviewing candidates, coaching managers on best recruitment practice and issuing offers of employment in line with agreed terms and conditions
- Managing the HR administration for the defined business area including sickness absence monitoring, payroll input, new starter and leaver processes
- Reporting of monthly trends, actions and issues and suggesting solutions to the business
- Working with the HR Business Partner on various projects
To be successful in this role you will need:-
- CIPD qualification Level 5 or above
- HR Advisor experience, ideally gained in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- A passion for building relationships, the strength to challenge working practices whilst striving to deliver a professional HR service
