Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance management and investigations).
- Provide clear, consistent, risk-aware and commercially sound HR advice to managers, in line with employment law.
- Support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes where required.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activity, ensuring compliance throughout.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and support effective selection processes.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing activities.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is compliant and up to date.
- Assist with policy development, implementation and audits.
- Support benefits administration and respond to general HR queries.
- Drive continuous improvement within HR processes.
Key Skills:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role or similar generalist role within a fast-paced organisation.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases independently.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels and challenge constructively.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands.

This is a true generalist role supporting the full employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compliance and policy development. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers across the business, at all of our UK sites. You will operate with autonomy, managing risk, ensuring compliance, and driving consistent HR standards across the business, while supporting leaders through organisational change, embedding best practice people processes while balancing commercial realities and operational demands. You will need to be highly organised and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, balancing priorities across employee relations, recruitment activity, onboarding, policy guidance, and HR administration within an evolving environment.
