Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters end-to-end, including disciplinaries, grievances and performance
  • Supporting managers with absence management and employee wellbeing
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to managers across operational teams
  • Coaching and developing line managers in people-related matters
  • Supporting engagement initiatives, surveys and HR projects
  • Using data and HR systems to drive insights and decision-making
  • Partnering closely with the HRBP and wider HR team to deliver best practice

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in a generalist HR Advisor role, particularly employee relations
  • Confidence managing cases from start to finish
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A down-to-earth, team-focused approach
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) is desirable but not essential

The Opportunity

Leeds Bradford Airport is one of the UK’s fastest-growing regional airports, handling over 4 million passengers annually and investing in an exciting future. We’re now looking for an HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting during a period of planned maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a, fast-paced operational environment, working as part of a collaborative HR team supporting over 5,000 employees across the business. You’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service, working closely with managers and leaders to drive performance, engagement, and employee experience.
