The Role
As HR Advisor, you will work closely with managers and stakeholders, providing trusted advice across a broad range of HR matters.
You will take ownership of employee relations cases from initial advice through to resolution, whilst also supporting the business with meaningful HR insights and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers across the employee lifecycle.
- Managing end-to-end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance and capability matters.
- Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence in handling people-related issues.
- Ensuring HR advice and processes are consistent, fair and aligned with employment legislation and company policies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and producing regular HR reports and MI.
- Analysing HR data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and providing insights to key stakeholders.
- Supporting the production and development of HR dashboards and reporting.
- Using HR data to help inform workforce planning and wider people decisions.
- Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required.
About You
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor who is confident operating in a fast-paced environment and can quickly establish credibility with managers and stakeholders.
- Proven experience working as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner in a generalist HR environment.
- Strong, demonstrable experience managing end-to-end employee relations cases.
- A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to provide confident, pragmatic and commercially focused HR advice.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience working with HR data, MI and reporting.
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to turn HR data into clear, meaningful insights.
- Power BI experience would be highly desirable, particularly where used to develop dashboards or support HR reporting.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and hit the ground running.
