Summary: The HR Advisor role involves working with a mid-sized international law firm on a 6-month fixed-term contract to develop and modernize HR policies, contracts, and regulatory documents. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in employment law and policy, who is available to start soon. The role includes collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practices across the firm's international offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and update HR policies to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Draft and review employment contracts and agreements for both fee earners and business support staff.
- Create best practice precedents/templates and provide solutions where necessary.
- Implement processes that support effective policy implementation across the firm.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of policies to HR colleagues and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the HR Manager to identify and mitigate risks associated with policy changes.
- Maintain a strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.

- Experience as an HR Advisor with a focus on employment law and policy.
