The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in employee relations.

You will work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and guidance while supporting change initiatives and ensuring HR best practice is maintained.

The successful candidate will be confident managing a varied caseload and building strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business
  • Managing a range of employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters
  • Supporting managers through investigations, hearings and formal HR processes
  • Advising on employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice
  • Assisting with organisational change projects and internal restructuring activities
  • Supporting consultation processes and ensuring compliance with employment law requirements
  • Coaching and guiding managers on people-related matters
  • Supporting recruitment activities where required, including interviewing and candidate selection
  • Monitoring employee wellbeing, engagement and retention initiatives
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Producing HR reports, metrics and management information
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an efficient and proactive HR service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in an HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR position

Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently

A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice

Experience supporting organisational change, restructuring or business transformation projects

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

A proactive and professional approach with strong problem-solving abilities

CIPD qualification (Level 3 or Level 5) would be advantageous but is not essential.
