Summary: The HR Advisor role is a temporary position within a prestigious super-luxury automotive brand located in Chichester. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support, managing employee relations cases, recruitment activities, and advising people leaders. This position requires a proactive approach to HR processes and a commitment to continuous improvement within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing ER cases from start to end, including performance, absence, grievance, and disciplinary topics.
- Supporting people managers with absence management cases and measures.
- Assisting with the leavers process, including arrangements for exit interviews.
- Supporting recruitment activities, including attending interviews, assessment days, and onboarding.
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR issues for approximately 500 employees.
- Running weekly meetings with people managers.
- Supporting measures to improve employee wellbeing.
- Processing contractual changes using SAP.
- Supporting and leading HR projects where appropriate.
Key Skills:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Understanding of UK employment law.
- Passion for continuous improvement with a focus on digital transformation.
- Ability to manage complexity and change positively and proactively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

An excellent opportunity has become available for an HR Advisor to join a busy HR operational department in a large global manufacturing plant based in Chichester. The HR team is growing, and we are looking for a HR Advisor to report into a HR Business Partner. You will be part of a bigger HR team providing exceptional HR service with high standards of advice and support.
As HR Advisor you will steer, support and advise people leaders on the following topics:
Managing ER cases from start to end. This can include performance, absence, grievance and disciplinary topics
Supporting people managers with absence management cases and measures
Supporting people managers with the leavers process including arrangements for exit interviews
Supporting recruitment activities - this includes attending interviews, assessment days and onboarding
First point of contact - advising HR issues for circa 500 employees
Responsible for running weekly meetings with people managers
Supporting with measures to improve employee wellbeing
Processing contractual changes using SAP
To support, and where appropriate lead HR projects
Skills & Qualifications
CIPD Level 3 qualification or relevant work experience
Knowledge of HR processes and best practice
UK employment law
Passion for continuous improvement with a focus on digital transformation
Ability to deal with complexity and change management in a positive and proactive manner
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A people person: you will provide a calm, patient and supportive influence
A team player with strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills based on trust and transparency

It would also be great if you have experience in managing HR projects and line manager training
