Summary: Experienced HR Advisor needed for a leading organization in Bristol on a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role requires strong generalist HR experience and expertise in UK employment legislation, particularly in managing complex employee relations. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support and coaching to leaders while representing the HR function. Immediate start is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive HR support for the business area and the wider HR team.
  • Offer professional coaching and advice to leaders on HR policies and processes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for manager queries.
  • Support a range of HR activities and projects.
  • Focus on employee relations on a day-to-day basis.

Key Skills:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified.
  • Experience of managing employee relations cases.
  • Experience of working in an HR Advisor role.
  • Understanding of current UK employment legislation.
  • Strong customer service ethos.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Salary (Rate): £44,000 yearly

Description

As the HR Advisor you will provide comprehensive HR support for your business area, as well as supporting the wider HR team. Reporting into the Head of HR, who is based in Bristol, and working closely with the HR Business Partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, pragmatic coaching and advice to leaders, and guiding employees on a range of HR policies and processes to managers and leaders.

You will be the first point of contact for manager queries, supporting a range of HR activities and projects whilst representing the wider HR function. The role has a significant focus on employee relations on a day to day basis.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor will have:-

  • CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified
  • Experience of managing employee relations cases
  • Experience of working in a HR Advisor role
  • Understanding of current UK employment legislation
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Excellent attention to detail
