Summary: The HR Advisor role is a temporary position focused on managing employee relations, specifically in absence management, for a duration of six months. The advisor will work in a hybrid capacity, primarily based in Brighton, while also supporting other sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of absence management cases in an advisory capacity.
- Prioritize work and follow-up tasks daily, collaborating with managers and stakeholders.
- Timetable cases to ensure they progress within agreed timescales.
- Support managers with complex sickness/absence issues and provide regular reports.
- Review and analyze workforce data, providing monthly KPI reports on sickness.
- Offer risk-based advice on redeployment, ill health, retirement, or termination.
- Devise and deliver training on HR policies and people management topics.
- Lead the drafting and implementation of new policies and update existing ones.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in high-volume employee relations, particularly in absence management.
