Summary: The HR Advisor role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Bosham, Sussex, focused on supporting the HR team during a maternity leave. The position involves overseeing HR functions, managing employee relations queries, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes. The role requires a highly organized individual with experience in HR and the ability to start in April for a handover. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the advisor will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing oversight and supervision of all HR functions.
  • Dealing with employee relations queries and escalating complex cases to the Head of HR.
  • Supporting line managers with recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Assisting hiring managers with the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions and attending interviews.
  • Onboarding new starters and ensuring mandatory training is completed.
  • Note-taking in HR meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and processing HR documentation.

Key Skills:

  • Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Experience working within an HR team or in a generalist role.
  • Able to commence employment in April for handover.

Salary (Rate): 36k
