The Role
Working closely with the senior HR team, you will be responsible for providing practical, commercially focused HR support across the business. This role will have a strong focus on Employee Relations and will suit someone who is confident managing complex casework and building credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers on employment law, policies and procedures.
- Supporting investigations, hearings and outcome recommendations.
- Building effective relationships with managers, employees and Trade Union representatives.
- Advising on collective and individual consultation matters where required.
- Supporting organisational change, workforce planning and people initiatives.
- Ensuring HR records and documentation are maintained accurately and compliantly.
- Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the people function.
- Producing HR reports and management information as required.
About You
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Coordinator role.
- Strong Employee Relations experience with confidence managing end-to-end casework independently.
- Experience working with Trade Unions and unionised environments.
- Sound knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Ability to build strong working relationships and influence at all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred.
