Summary: The HR Advisor role at Bowmer + Kirkland is a 6-month maternity cover position based in Heage, Derbyshire, focused on providing comprehensive HR support to approximately 2,000 employees. The successful candidate will engage in various HR functions, including employee relations, absence management, and recruitment campaigns, while working closely with managers to ensure effective policy application. This full-time role requires some travel to other offices and flexibility in working arrangements. The position is ideal for someone with a CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support on policy and procedure application.
- Guiding and coaching managers through employee relations cases.
- Managing absence and wellbeing for the group on a case-by-case basis.
- Organising occupational health appointments and liaising with payroll on sickness pay queries.
- Supporting performance management processes and interventions.
- Managing VISA applications for international employees.
- Leading recruitment campaigns for the Group.
- Assisting with local school and university engagements for recruitment.
- Handling general HR enquiries and managing the HR inbox.
- Undertaking other reasonable duties as requested by the Group Head of HR.
