Summary: The HR Advisor role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sutton, London, with the potential for permanent placement. The position requires an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive support across the employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, policy development, and change management. The role emphasizes proactive HR service delivery and collaboration with management and employees. An ASAP start is preferred for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, and absence.
- Support managers through complex HR issues, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
- Lead on change management processes, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Develop and implement HR policies, keeping them aligned with employment legislation.
- Deliver training to managers on HR best practice and employee relations.
- Line manage and support the development of junior HR team members.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to foster a positive employee relations culture.
Key Skills:
- A degree or equivalent experience.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven experience handling complex employee relations cases.
- Experience in change management, including restructures and redundancies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong HR systems experience.
