Summary: This role is for an HR Administrator on a 6-month fixed-term contract with a leading national critical infrastructure and technology services provider. The position involves managing the employee lifecycle administration, acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, and ensuring compliance with GDPR. The successful candidate will utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and HR Helpdesk systems to support a workforce dedicated to maintaining national connectivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate the full employee lifecycle administration, including the generation of offer letters, contracts, and variations to terms and conditions.
- Act as the first point of contact on the HR Helpdesk, troubleshooting queries regarding pay, leave, and policy with an 80% first-contact resolution target.
- Manage critical HR data and personnel records with a focus on GDPR compliance and attention to detail within the HRIS.
- Support HR Shared Service Administration projects and execute anniversary and recognition award distributions across various business functions.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (ER, Reward, L&D) to escalate complex cases while maintaining a premium internal customer experience.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in an HR Administration or HR Shared Services environment with a deep understanding of standard HR processes.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Advanced Excel (data manipulation) and Intermediate PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR principles and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide coaching on people issues across a diverse, multi-site business.
