  • Advising on shared ownership and leasehold disputes
  • Preparing legal documents and advocating in court/tribunals
  • Supporting junior legal staff where required
  • Staying current with housing legislation and relevant case law

Key Skills:

  • A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience in housing law
  • Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy law, and civil procedure

Service Care Legal are working alongside a housing association based in East London who are seeking a Housing Solicitor to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details about this position. Please note that this would require office attendance 2 days per week.

The Role

As a Housing Solicitor , you'll play a pivotal role in advising and representing the organisation on a range of landlord and tenant matters. From possession claims and disrepair to tenancy fraud and leasehold breaches, you'll be managing a busy, varied caseload with autonomy and confidence. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to balance office and remote work. You’ll report directly to the General Counsel and Head of Governance , with the opportunity to also support junior team members.
