• Increasing customer satisfaction within neighbourhoods and promoting improvements
• Delivering good and safe landlord services
• Leading the housing team, ensuring the best from each member
• Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders to develop and nurture relationships
• Investigating complaints about service failures
• Leading operational housing and tenancy management delivery
• Supporting the head of housing with regular review of policies and procedures
• Monitoring staff performance and conducting appraisals
• Looking after delegated budgets and ensuring they are focused on areas of highest priority
• Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, contractors, external agencies and colleagues in other departments
