Summary: The Housing Data Analyst role involves supporting data-driven decision-making and service performance through high-quality analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine and ad-hoc data analysis, reports, and dashboards to support performance monitoring and decision-making
- Maintain, validate, and analyse complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high data quality standards
- Translate business and operational questions into clear analytical requirements, metrics, and outputs
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and define measurable outcomes
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and insight generation
- Produce clear, concise reports and recommendations tailored to non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
- Support service improvement and transformation initiatives through data-led and business analysis
- Document business processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies to ensure transparency and continuity
- Contribute to the development of reporting frameworks, data standards, and analytical best practices
- Ensure compliance with data protection, information governance, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Lead business process mapping activities, documenting current (“As-Is”) processes and designing future (“To-Be”) processes to support service redesign
Key Skills:
- Experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analysis roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar)
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
