HMSS koordinator

Summary: The HMSS Coordinator role involves proactive engagement with various stakeholders to ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance on-site. The position requires a significant amount of fieldwork, reporting to the HSE leader, and participating in risk assessments and safety meetings. The coordinator will also motivate personnel to contribute to preventive HSE efforts and handle incident reporting. This contract position is set for a rotation schedule of 14 days on and 21 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage proactively with all types of individuals and address any violations observed in the field.
• Spend most of the working hours in the field.
• Report to the HSE leader on the project.
• Follow up on HSE matters within the project.
• Work systematically on preventive HSE initiatives.
• Participate in risk assessments, safety job analyses, pre-job discussions, safety rounds, and HSE meetings.
• Collaborate with the safety service in the project.
• Encourage personnel to contribute to preventive HSE work, including reporting observations and incidents.

Key Skills:

• Education in HSE is preferred, but relevant experience may substitute formal education.
• Relevant experience in petroleum-related, renewable-related project work, or construction.
• Proficient in Norwegian and English.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of Synergi is an advantage.
• Experience in handling unwanted incidents and observations.
• Experience in risk management.
• Flexibility for a 14-21 rotation schedule.
• Ability to work day and night shifts.
