Key Responsibilities:
- Follow SES processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Source hire equipment and consumables from internal and external suppliers
- Review cost and lead times to recommend efficient solutions
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for internal workshops
- Coordinate between clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Manage internal and external equipment hire, prioritising owned assets
- Arrange delivery and collection of equipment and materials
- Use MCS to raise contracts and POs, process goods in/out, and check availability
- Coordinate equipment recertification and maintain accurate plant records
- Communicate delays or issues clearly to clients
- Support training and onboarding of team members
- Contribute to SES’s safety culture and continuous improvement
Key Skills:
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a similar role
- Experience within the energy sector would be a plus
- Strong time and task management skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with MCS or similar plant management systems
- Proactive, dynamic, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently
- Professional communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Solid business acumen and understanding of operational and logistical processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities without compromising accuracy
- Willingness to learn and adapt, with full training provided
