Summary: The HIL Test Engineer role involves developing and executing test cases for steering systems within a high-performance automotive environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and run test cases in the Steering System HIL (e.g., DSPACE, XPACK4).
  • Implement existing vehicle test procedures in the HIL setup.

  • Develop analysis methods and metrics to evaluate test results.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to meet test requirements.
  • Characterise and compare steering systems; generate technical reports.
  • Correlate virtual models with HIL and vehicle data.

  • Extensive HIL testing experience (DSPACE, XPACK4 or similar).

Are you an experienced HIL Test Engineer with a passion for automotive innovation? We're working with a leading automotive OEM to find a talented engineer (initial 12 month contract) to support cutting-edge steering system development. Role Overview

As a HIL Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and executing test cases within the Steering System HIL environment, implementing OEM vehicle test procedures, and operating the HIL rig.
