Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
- Oversee pipejacking operations, ensuring alignment, safety and programme targets are met
- Manage installation of drainage systems, including sedimentation tanks and associated infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Plan and manage daily site activities in line with the programme
- Allocate labour, plant and materials effectively
- Monitor progress and report on performance, risks and issues
- Ensure adherence to method statements, risk assessments and permit systems
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure specifications are met
- Liaise with engineers and management to resolve technical and operational challenges
- Support and mentor operatives, promoting a positive safety culture
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Foreman or Supervisor on highways projects
- Strong understanding of highway construction, including earthworks, drainage, structures and surfacing
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- CSCS card at Supervisor level or above
- Highways Passport

Your new role We are recruiting for a Civils Foreman to join a major highways scheme involving roundabout improvements and the construction of a new 10-mile dual carriageway.
