Summary: The Heavy Machine Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment for the production of mud motor components, including tasks such as metal preparation and operating rubber injection machines. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while managing physical demands such as heavy lifting. The position involves documenting work processes and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment related to the production of mud motor components.
- Perform metal preparation by sandblasting, grinding, and fabricating.
- Apply adhesives and operate rubber injection machines.
- Document and record data in the assigned work area.
- Ensure finished products meet company quality policy.
- Utilize personal protection equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Key Skills:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years related experience or training.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Ability to manage time effectively and possess good organizational skills.
