Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement billing strategies for heat networks to maximize income.
- Ensure compliance with the Energy Act and Heat Metering and Billing Regulations.
- Collaborate with residents and internal stakeholders to meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct data analysis to inform operational strategies and tactics.
- Prepare and present reports to senior staff, councillors, and residents.
- Manage billing service charges across various tenures in Local Authorities.
- Analyze market options and provide recommendations.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Engage with communities to co-design suitable solutions.
- Drive behavior change initiatives within a Local Authority setting.
- Attend meetings outside normal working hours as required.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of district heating systems and heat metering and billing technology.
- Understanding of regulations related to heat metering and billing.
- Experience in developing operational strategies for successful outcomes.
