Summary: As a UX Researcher, you will collaborate within an Agile team to develop healthcare applications, focusing on user experience and interface design. Your role involves conducting research, creating design artifacts, and working closely with cross-functional teams to implement user-centered solutions. You will also facilitate workshops and present design concepts to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to best practices in UX and UI design. This position is hybrid or remote, with a preference for candidates located in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct UX research, discovery sessions, and usability studies
  • Understand user workflows, operational processes, and business needs
  • Create personas, journey maps, workflows, and low-fidelity concepts
  • Design intuitive, modern, and responsive UI experiences
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design systems
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative design sessions
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams
  • Translate research findings into UX and UI solutions
  • Support usability improvements and product innovation initiatives
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • Strong hands-on UX and UI design experience
  • Mandatory experience in Human Factors Engineering or Healthcare UX
  • Expertise in Figma
  • Good experience with FigJam and Miro
  • Experience creating personas, user journeys, workflow diagrams, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity UI mockups, interactive prototypes, design systems, and reusable components
  • Strong visual design and UX thinking
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred experience in Digital Health, MedTech, Healthcare, or connected device platforms
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
  • Understanding of accessibility and usability best practices
  • Experience working in Agile product teams
  • Nice to have experience with connected healthcare devices or patient monitoring platforms, usability validation or regulated healthcare environments, data visualization/dashboard design, and ability to independently drive design activities from discovery to delivery
