Summary: The Health & Safety Coordinator role at Orbit involves supporting the Head of Health, Safety & Insurance in implementing a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System. The position requires coordination of training, audits, and data analysis to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in either Stratford upon Avon or Coventry, with a focus on agile working. The role emphasizes collaboration across the organization to promote health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the H&S inbox and provide necessary support to the business.
- Liaise with internal customers and external agencies as required.
- Coordinate Health and Safety related training for colleagues.
- Coordinate Health and Safety audits, inspections, investigations, and ad-hoc visits.
- Collate data, perform statistical analysis, and prepare reports maintaining KPIs.
- Review and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and guidance, highlighting necessary updates.
- Lead H&S communications for the team, collaborating with communications and other teams.
Key Skills:
- Motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in report writing and data analysis.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
