The Role

Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will oversee daily site safety and lead incident investigations.

  • Site Compliance & Leadership: Provide daily on-site safety guidance to project teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with SHE legislation and company standards.
  • Incidents & Auditing: Lead root-cause incident investigations, deliver key learnings, and report accurately on site SHEQ performance metrics.
  • Culture & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive a positive safety and environmental culture through daily site briefings, toolboxes, and proactive client engagement.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum requirement). IOSH membership desirable.
  • Sector Background: Proven SHE experience within energy transmission, overhead line (OHL) schemes, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience leading root-cause accident/incident investigations and auditing regulated sites.
  • Site Availability: Valid UK driving licence and able to work on site in South Wales 5 days a week.
