Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HSE support across active construction projects
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Support the review of contractor documentation and method statements
  • Contribute to incident investigations and improvement plans
  • Represent the client in safety meetings with contractors and stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • SC-cleared or eligible for clearance
  • Experience in HSE roles within construction, major infrastructure, civil engineering, or regulated sectors
  • Strong communication and influencing skills in a client-facing role
  • NEBOSH Certificate (minimum), NVQ Level 5/6, or equivalent

Overview

We're recruiting HSE Advisors to join a high-profile, long-term infrastructure programme in Derby. The role will involve supporting either estate operations or major construction works, including enabling works, transport routes, and utilities installation. This is a client-side position, working alongside principal contractors and designers to maintain best-in-class safety standards.

Please note: Must Hold Security Clearance (SC) in line with United Kingdom Security Vetting

Key Responsibilities
