Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Health & Safety across multiple construction projects throughout Wales.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve Health & Safety policies, procedures and management systems.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Produce detailed reports and present findings to senior management.
- Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions and health & safety briefings.
- Support project teams during planning and delivery to ensure best practice is embedded from the outset.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies on all Health & Safety matters.
- Promote a proactive, positive safety culture across the organisation.
About You
- We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional with a strong background within the construction industry.
- You Will Ideally Have Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, HSE Manager, Health, Safety & Environment Manager, or similar role.
- Experience working within construction, civil engineering or building projects.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Membership of IOSH (GradIOSH or CMIOSH preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to influence teams at every level of the business.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across Wales.
