Health And Safety Consultant

Summary: The Health & Safety Consultant role at TSA Riley involves working in a fast-paced logistics environment for a global client on a fixed-term contract lasting up to 2 months. The consultant will support and advise the project team, requiring hands-on engagement and excellent communication skills. The position is based in the Greater Bristol Area and includes variable hours, potentially including unsociable times. Key Responsibilities:

• Recording and maintaining accurate daily and weekly metrics.
• Reporting to onsite management teams using corporate reporting systems.
• Supporting stakeholders and the project team with compliance and HS regulations.
• Carrying out regular site walks throughout the day.
• Completing risk assessments with attention to detail.
• Carrying out toolbox talks.
• Attending and chairing various meetings with stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Advising and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics.

Key Skills:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• Ability to use and learn client’s reporting system.
• Previous experience as a Health & Safety Consultant / Advisor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player.
• Self-management and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of RAMS.
