Summary: The Head of Website Transformation will lead the redevelopment of a global website ecosystem for a complex, global organization with over 100 million users. This senior leadership role involves driving digital transformation by implementing a new content management system and unifying over 300 websites. The position requires collaboration with global stakeholders to create a modern, scalable platform that enhances user engagement and operational excellence. The role reports to the Group Marketing Director and is based in London with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation of 300+ websites into a unified domain and CMS structure.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of CMS re-platforming—from discovery and selection through to implementation.
  • Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for the global website ecosystem, including content, functionality, and user experience.
  • Act as the primary liaison between marketing, communications, and digital technology teams.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and agencies to define requirements, map user journeys, and ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
  • Ensure SEO continuity, internationalisation, and content migration strategies are embedded in the project.
  • Build a deep understanding of the operational context to inform design and delivery decisions.
  • Support the enablement of marketing and communications teams to manage and optimise content effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience leading global website transformation and CMS re-platforming projects.
  • Demonstrated success in managing website migrations across multiple countries, languages, and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in the education, EdTech, teaching, or exams sectors is highly desirable.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this senior leadership role will drive the transformation of their digital infrastructure, leading the implementation of a new content management system (CMS) and simplifying a network of over 300 business and country-specific websites. Acting as the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO), you will collaborate with global stakeholders and external partners to deliver a modern, scalable, and insight-driven platform that supports growth, engagement, and operational excellence.
