Summary: The Head of Technology at eMigr8 will lead the Product Engineering, AI Development, Infrastructure, and Technical Strategy efforts of the company. This role is suited for a technical leader with experience in building and scaling SaaS products, who will shape the company's architectural foundations and engineering culture. Initially part-time with significant equity, the position will transition to full-time as the company grows. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the technical roadmap and lead the development of the core platform for a scalable, high-performance SaaS product.
- Lead the evolution of AI agents, implementing LLM applications to automate legal and migration workflows.

The Role We're looking for a technical leader who will lead our Product Engineering, AI Development, Infrastructure, and Technical Strategy efforts. This role is ideal for someone who has built and scaled SaaS products before, or an ambitious lead engineer ready to step into a foundational leadership role with real ownership. You'll be instrumental in shaping the next phase of eMigr8 from architectural foundations and AI integration to technical scaling and building a world-class engineering culture. This will start as a part-time, significant equity-first role, transitioning to full-time as the company hits growth or funding milestones.
What You'll Do
- Product Engineering & Strategy: Own the technical roadmap and lead the development of our core platform, ensuring we build a scalable, high-performance SaaS product.
- AI Innovation: Lead the evolution of Dr. Zenith and other AI agents, implementing cutting-edge LLM applications to automate complex legal and migration workflows.
- Scalable Architecture: Design and oversee a robust, secure, and flexible technical architecture capable of supporting global expansion and multi-country data requirements.
- Technical Operations: Manage cloud infrastructure, security compliance, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure maximum uptime and data integrity.
- Team Building & Mentorship: Play a key role in hiring our early engineering team and fostering a culture of technical excellence, agility, and mission-driven innovation.
About You You may be a technical founder, a lead engineer, or a rising full-stack generalist with a strong architectural mindset. You have conviction, technical depth, and the mindset of a builder. You're a fit if you bring:
