Summary: The Head of QA/QC (NFE Pipelines) is responsible for the effective implementation of Project Management Systems (PMS) and ensuring quality objectives are met within the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves managing the Pipelines QA/QC Team, leading quality audits, and developing quality procedures to support project quality requirements. The position requires extensive experience in quality management, particularly in large-scale EPC projects, and a strong background in quality assurance and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and Quality Processes to achieve Project Quality Objectives.
  • Lead the Pipelines QA/QC Team to meet Project Quality Requirements.
  • Conduct quality monitoring, audits, and self-assessments to ensure compliance with PMS and EPCI Contract Quality Requirements.
  • Develop Quality Procedures, Plans, and Work Instructions, providing guidance to the Project Management Team.
  • Implement quality surveillance tools and maintain quality plans for Pipelines Quality Teams.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
  • 10 years' experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies and large-scale operating organizations.
  • Knowledge of relevant Quality Systems, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Experience in managing QA/QC activities for Onshore and Offshore projects.
  • Proven track record in challenging project environments and successful quality completions of International Offshore Pipeline EPC Projects.
  • Experience in developing and delivering Audit Programs and Quality Surveillance Programs.
  • Welding experience related to CRA Welding processes and certifications such as CSWIP 3.2.2 (Level III) are advantageous.
  • NDT experience and certifications in various methods (PCN Level II or III) are advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with technical and interpersonal skills.
