Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all the businesses current procurement activities and agreements to provide a thorough audit.
  • Cultivate strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms.
  • Extract tangible cost savings across third-party suppliers.
  • Address supplier issues, queries, or lapsed agreements.
  • Lead discussions with suppliers to gain insights and reporting for strategic advantage.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value suppliers aligned with business values.
  • Recommend best practices and key business planning elements for the future.

Key Skills:

  • MCIPS qualification (or working towards) - advantageous but not essential.
  • Significant experience in procurement within a professional service, insurance, or B2B environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
