Responsibilities include
- Leading and managing the major works / pre-construction team to deliver required outputs for the organisation and residents
- Owning the development of an intelligent, resident-focused multi-year capital programme, driven by accurate condition data and performance insight
- Ensuring delivery and compliance against key housing standards, including Decent Homes and wider safety and quality obligations
- Leading procurement planning and delivery for major works, ensuring value for money and compliance with relevant procurement requirements
- Driving resident engagement and communication activity aligned to planned works delivery
- Supporting budget planning, forecasting and performance reporting, working collaboratively across the wider business
About you
- Strong track record in major works / planned works / capital programme delivery within social housing or a closely related environment
- Confident using stock condition data, repairs history and resident feedback to shape practical investment programmes
- Experienced leader who can organise teams, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver to plan
- Good working knowledge of relevant housing regulation, compliance and reporting expectations
- Procurement and contract management experience across capital / major works frameworks
- Relevant professional qualification (RICS, CIOB or similar) is desirable
