Head of People Services (Hybrid – South Wales)

12-month Fixed Term contract

£75,000 plus benefits

A multi-site business is seeking an experienced Head of People Services on a 12-month fixed term contract to develop and lead the People Services function and drive the development of a high-performing HR Shared Services team.

The role is responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality HR services to colleagues across the business, including:

  • Employee lifecycle processes
  • Payroll management across multiple payrolls
  • HR systems and data governance
  • Continuous improvement of HR operations and service delivery

A key focus of the position will be designing and implementing new ways of working, alongside leading process improvement and systems transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and colleague experience.

Leading a team of HR advisors, administrators, and payroll specialists, the successful candidate will ensure operational excellence while supporting wider business transformation and change programmes across the organisation.
