Summary: The Head of Payroll role is a 6-month hybrid contract based in Stratford, London, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Employee Payments processes, including payroll, expenses, and overtime payments. Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the scheduling and production of payroll across the organisation.

- Oversee payroll accounting and ensure costs are reflected in the General Ledger.
- Process payroll BACS transmissions to ensure timely payments.
- Complete and submit HMRC statutory returns according to legislation.
- Process and pay employee expenses and payments to third parties.

ARM are delighted to be working with our client to help them recruit a Head of Payroll on a 6 month contract. The role is responsible for delivery of elements of the end-to-end Employee Payments processes including payroll, expenses, and overtime payments
The Role:
- Responsible for the scheduling and production of payroll across the organisation, ensuring all payrolls for the employees are accurate, produced within non-negotiable deadlines and are in accordance with both statutory and company rules
- Overall responsibility for the payroll systems, including overall performance, testing, issue resolution and working with the necessary cross-functional internal and external contacts to ensure the payroll system is fit for purpose
- Responsible for payroll accounting facility, ensure all payroll costs are reflected in the General Ledger.
- The accurate and timely processing of all payroll BACS transmissions to ensure payments are made on time.
- Completion and submission of HMRC statutory returns according to statutory legislation.
- Processing and payment of employee expenses and payments to 3rd parties, for example HMRC and pension funds
Requirements:
